Adam Wolf, an estimator for McCarthy Building Companies at the time, saw the need for a modern, intuitive preconstruction management platform. He knew there had to be a better way to work than spending hours painstakingly sifting through spreadsheets.
So he approached Mark Bahorich, the founder of a successful oil-and-gas tech company, and Eric Hope, a former Apple and Valve product leader. Guided by Adam’s expertise as an estimator, the three got to work tackling the biggest problems in preconstruction management.
The result? Relay.
Mark is a successful SaaS founder with experience in corporate A&D and Reserves. Mark’s first SaaS start-up, Q Engineering, blew past several competitors and was acquired by Enverus after three years of high growth. Believing that entrepreneurship is a team sport, Mark’s approach to companies focuses on the intersection between product and sales. He enjoys testing new ideas with potential users and building out sales teams. Mark graduated from Rice University with a BS in Chemical Engineering.
Eric’s 20 years of product experience span two distinct realms: Enterprise software definition while at Apple and then entertainment software & hardware development and design while at Valve. Eric has personally defined, designed, and executed flagship products with 1000+ companies through executive and technical consulting.
